My name is Debbie. I retired from NC Department of Adult Corrections where I was employed as a case manager. Prior to this role, I worked as an office manager in mental health services for over 20 years. My husband, Don and I have been married 44 years and we are the proud parents of our amazing daughter, Sarah. We live in the Grassy Creek Community of Mitchell County and I am a member of Lily Branch Baptist Church. My greatest joy is being a mother and wife. I find purpose in encouraging individuals who have lost their sense of value. After receiving my degree from Lees-McRae College in 2010, I was entrusted to advise, teach and assist incarcerated men. Since it opened, I have been blessed with the opportunity to share my Savior through Bible Study, teaching life skills and showing love to Hope House women. Some of my favorite things are baking, singing, and taking road trips. |
