My name is Garry Robinson. I am a lifelong resident of Mitchell County. I was raised in the Bandana community and then moved to Mine Creek while in High School and now reside in the Cane Creek community. We attend Roan Mountain Baptist Church where serve as a Deacon.
I have been married to Rhonda Stamey Robinson for 47 years and we have one son, Bryce Robinson who lives in Knoxville, TN. After we graduated from Bowman High School, we attended Mayland Community College for 2 years and then began working with Pepsi Cola Bottling of Spruce Pine, NC. In 1980 we went to work with Brad Ragan Equipment Division of Spruce Pine as an Inventory Specialist and later as a Transportation Specialist. In 1986 we began our work in Retail Merchandising. We now own and operate a National Merchandising company in which we operate from our home in Bakersville, NC. My Salvation experience took place at age 9 at Mine Creek Baptist Church. I am still excited that God would speak to a young man at that age and convict my heart and save my lost soul. God has never failed me and I know he never will. My prayer is that I can serve him faithfully and be an example to the lost people who need a Savior too. I look forward to the day when all of God’s people will be together at that great celebration around our Father’s Throne. TO GOD BE THE GLORY !!! |
