My name is Janice Silver.  I am blessed beyond words to be the mother of three wonderful children who have blessed me with seven GRAND,  grandsons. I am one strand in three of an almost 50 year marriage to Mike Silver.  For 22 years we homeschooled our children before homeschooling was cool and now report all three are validated with college degrees.
I am an active member of Roan Mountain Baptist Church where I taught Bible Drill for 30 years.  Now you’ll find me still teaching Sunday School and most Wednesdays I can be found in the kitchen helping with Wednesday fellowship meals. 
I am recently retired from Mitchell County Department of Social Services with 20 years service where I heard and felt the out loud and silent cries of those in desperate circumstances. 
It’s my heart’s desire for each person see their need for a savior, believe in Jesus Christ as the perfect sacrifice and commit to a personal relationship with HIM. Only thru HIM can we make good decisions. Only thru HIM can we navigate the bends in the road, the heartbreak, and tragedies that unexpectedly barge into our lives.
